Unveiling of the NanoBubbler™ Aquaponics System

On Friday, August 23, 2024, Fine Bubble Technologies, in collaboration with the Technology and Innovation Agency and the Department of Education, proudly unveiled a state-of-the-art NanoBubble Aquaponics System at DeGrendel School of Skills. This self-sustaining system not only provides a sustainable food source but also serves as a hands-on learning tool for the students, empowering them with practical skills in aquaculture and environmental stewardship. The opening ceremony was graced by representatives from Stellenbosch University, who announced the launch of short learning programs in aquaculture and aquaponics, offering the students an educational opportunity that was previously out of reach. This initiative marks a significant step forward in providing innovative educational resources and opportunities for the youth at DeGrendel School of Skills.
